Hey everyone! Sorry I haven’t been able to write, I have been enjoying the summer! I am currently visiting a friend in Miami, and we just got back from a 3 day shark fishing adventure in the Keys. My friend is a marine biologist, and she uses the sharks to study their sense of smell. The shark below is a bonnet head.

My Indian Man also took a trip to visit friends. He spent a couple days in Delhi to hang out with his old university buddies. Here are a couple excerpts from the letter he to wrote me about it:

We reached Comesum around 11 pm. It was like Dejavu. I used to go there a lot when I was in Delhi. It’s still the same with the difference that people can not smoke even in the open area of the restaurant. Smoking at public places has been banned in Delhi. We sat there until 1 am. We talked and had ice cream there under the open sky. It felt really good to sit under the open sky with cool breeze blowing. The good part is that the day I reached Delhi it rained so weather was nice.

It was good seeing college friends. everyone is just the same except the fact that some of them have started turning bald

The last part about his friends turning bald had me laughing. What a statement!

University Friends

I thought spending time away from home and filling my days with new and exciting things would take my mind off of My Indian Man and help the days pass faster. The days sure are passing by very quickly, but being away and experiencing such things like beautiful sunsets, fireworks from the ocean on the 4th fo July, and breathtaking hikes only make me think about and miss MIM even more! Dang it!
